How long have you been a photographer? How did you get started?
I'm Crystal Guash, the one woman show behind C Guash Photography. I'm a 34 year old Buffalo native who loves taking photos whenever I can. I've always loved pictures but ever since I got a part time high school job at Sears Portrait Studio I was really hooked. My favorite things to do are playing piano, laughing with my siblings, exploring with my camera, having lazy date nights with my boyfriend, and cuddling with my cat Penelope (in no particular order). I've been doing this photography thing for over four years now and have learned so much and met so many great people along the way. As I grow in this medium I want to do my best to bring out and showcase the best in everything around me. I would consider it an absolute honor to photograph your favorite moments.
How can I reserve a date to book you for a session?
Head over to my booking link here to fill out a little about the type of session you’re looking for, and list your availability. To hold your requested date for your photo session, I require a signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit to finalize booking.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! An initial phone consultation or video-call gives us the chance to connect on all your photography needs. I am also open to meeting up in person.
How long will the session take?
My session packages are in 30 minute and 60 minute increments. If we need to go over our time because we’re capturing some truly awesome moments, that will be billed an additional $75/hr over the original package timeframe. I’m dedicated to providing all my clients the time and attention you deserve, however won’t overstay my welcome or drag the shoot out longer than necessary.
What payments do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards, cash or check. Paypal and Venmo are also accepted.
Do you require a deposit and is it refundable?
My deposit is 50% non-refundable of the total session fee to finalize booking.
What’s your cancellation/rescheduling policy? Do I get a refund if there is inclement weather on our schedule session?
Reschedules are no charge provided they are done over 48 hours in advance of the scheduled shoot date/time. A cancelation with less than 48 hours’ notice forfeits your deposit and any incurred expenses already in place for your shoot, as I am not able to re-book or find another client within a short turn around time. If I arrive at your destination or property and cannot access or a no-show occurs the 50% deposit is forfeited. Since weather is unpredictable, shoots rescheduled due to inclement weather do not incur a fee. Do you travel?
Yes! I’m currently physically located in Western New York. Travel fees outside of one hour from my home will be calculated and included in our contract.

Extended Families/Large Groups
All packages and timed sessions include an unlimited amount of delivered photos and outfit changes as the client wishes. Multiple locations will only be available for 60 minute sessions and as previously agreed upon by the photographer. By filling out my booking inquiry here I can get a better idea of your specific photography needs.
When and how do I receive my final photos?
My average turnaround time for your gallery of professionally shot and edited final image selections is 3 weeks after your session. You will receive an email with a link to your online gallery which can be easily viewed and downloaded.
Do I get the copyright/ownership of my photos? Do you provide original unedited raw image files?
Your final images are yours to keep! You have full ownership to use the photos as you please. As your photographer, I also retain copyright to utilize your images within the bounds for personal promotional material and nothing further. I do not provide unedited RAW image files of your session. I take care in choosing the best shots and professionally edit each image before providing you with your gallery. Post production image editing is part of the magical unique process delivering you the very best of your final images. Your final edited JPEGs will all be extremely high resolution.

Do you back up my photography files?
Yes! I have never lost a client's photographs. All photo sessions are backed up on my external hard drive and cloud storage. Before you even see your proofing gallery, your images are backed up in two locations.
